Duck Encounters

In addition to chicken sitting and duck sitting, we offer the opportunity for duck encounters. During the warmer months (and on warmer days in colder months) we offer these duck encounters to small groups (4 people maximum). You will get the chance to meet our flock up close, learn about fowl ownership, and by the time you leave, you’ll be able to tell your friends and family that you are besties with a duck.

Cost: $50 (Group of up to 5)

Visit length: 30-45 minutes

Duck Encounters Include:
- Meeting our flock of ducks
- Touching/Petting (their feathers are very soft)
- Giving treats (we have meal worms and veggies on hand)
- Get your picture with our ducks
- Learn about the difference between domestic and wild ducks
- Learning the difference between boy and girl ducks (they
quack differently!)
- Check the coop for fresh eggs
- Take home a duck egg (subject to availability)

duck encounters are done for the season , but they will be back again in the spring!
